Wagtails of The Wolds Nominated for Petcare Company of the Year

We’re delighted to share some very special news from Wagtails of The Wolds — we have been nominated for Petcare Company of the Year in the Yorkshire Prestige Awards.

To have our little salon recognised in this way is a wonderful achievement, and one that means a great deal to us.

Since opening Wagtails of The Wolds in Driffield, our focus has always been on providing a calm, caring and professional grooming experience, while taking the time to understand every dog as an individual.

For us, pet care is about much more than simply producing a lovely groom. It’s about getting to know the dogs who come through our door, understanding their personalities and individual needs, and adapting their grooming experience as those needs change throughout their lives.

Many of our clients have been coming to Wagtails for years, allowing us to watch their dogs grow from puppies into much-loved adult companions and, eventually, older dogs who may need a little more time, patience and consideration during their visits.

Those long-standing relationships are one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

Behind every groom is a great deal of care and attention — from the initial consultation with a new client, to choosing the right approach for each individual dog, using quality products and professional equipment, and making sure that dogs are comfortable throughout their time with us.

We are incredibly grateful to all of our clients who have trusted us with their dogs over the years, recommended Wagtails to friends and family, taken the time to leave reviews and continued to support our small independent business.

This nomination is a lovely reminder that all those years of hard work, dedication and commitment to the dogs in our care really do matter.

We’re particularly proud to be recognised alongside other wonderful pet care businesses across Yorkshire, and of course, we’ll be keeping everything crossed for Wagtails!

Thank you to every client, past and present, who has been part of our journey.
