Oh my goodness! What can one say? Absolutely delighted with the results that was amazingly achieved on the first session .DaisyRose is my Cocker Spaniel I recently rescued this sweet girl and during the obligatory health check with ones Vet the condition of her teeth left much to be desired.a friend suggested to check out dog teeth cleaning services.I then found Wagtail's and the lovely Louisa .wow! the whole experience was amazing from start to finish both for DaisyRose and myself! so wonderfully knowledgeable professional and above all, made our visit so special with Louisa's calm and genuine warm friendly approach. I took my pride and joy Cavapoo, Daisy to Louisa & Hannah today for the first time and it couldn’t have gone better. Daisy had a lot of matting unfortunately but Louisa talked me through the process and double checked everything along the way. Daisy is quite a shy rescue but she came out of the groomers looking and smelling lovely! I can tell the ladies really took their time and gave Daisy the time and attention she needed. On top of all that, the friendliness and non judgmental attitude you are met with is worth gold. Daisy had matting due to some circumstances and Louisa understood and did what needed to be done. It feels like more than a groomers. I’m an anxious dog owner and have anxiety leaving mine but I feel like they will likely run into the doors next time! ☺️

Pippa’s first visit to see Louisa & Hannah today. We were nervous as it was her first visit but we needn’t have been because she had a pawfect experience. Pippa did not rush for the door straight away when we collected her - a good indication of whether she had been happy there or not. She looked amazing following her grooming session - Louisa used hypoallergenic, organic shampoo for her sensitive skin and gave her fur a beautiful scissor cut. Pippa emerged smelling fresh, wonderfully clean and best of all she had obviously enjoyed her experience. We can definitely recommend WofTW and have already booked her next appointment.

Bella, my very shy yorkshire terrier from a rescue home, hates being groomed and is incredibly scared of people. I have used a number of dog groomers in the past and each time was not a pleasant experience for Bella nor for myselfl. A friend of mine recommended Wagtails of the Wolds and I am absolutely delighted with the result. Louisa is incredibly professional and knew exactly how to handle Bella. Louisa is a fantastic dog groomer. She really put my dog at ease when he arrived and did a brilliant job deshedding and cleaning his coat. It's the cleanest and softest it's ever been. I wouldn't go anywhere else and I really can't recommend her enough. Louisa really knows what she's doing. Very professional and a good quality service. 5 stars all round. Can't fault her in any way.

i would highly recommend this dog grooming Business. we had an appointment at 3:30pm today we felt so welcome to be there and we loved the environment. The staff there was very understanding and supportive with the problems our dog has and everything looked very professional and felt happy and glad knowing our dog luna would be safe. we explained to them what we wanted luna to have during her cut and they took every detail in and did an amazing job with her. i would recommend this dog grooming business to anyone as our results was amazing and we would definitely be returning. thank you for all you’re work we appreciate it 😊

I take our west highland terrier here despite the fact it’s the opposite direction for us to travel from home, work and school but I have never found a groomer who has treated and groomed her so well. Now she is 13 years old her arthritis is getting increasingly worse so we now book her in for a mobility mud bath too! It works its magic every time and she always comes away moving much more freely and seemingly much happier. I can’t recommend Wagtails of the Wolds highly enough. We are very grateful that we found them.

Louisa grooms my Cavapoo Bertie every 3 months as I live a long way away and I have to travel 8 hours round trip to get him groomed as he never looks as amazing as he does after a trip to the Wagtails of the Wolds. He never enjoys going anywhere else and Louisa treats him as one of her own. She is such gentle, reassuring, loving and calms him down. The products are sensational, the service is first class and the grooming salon is immaculate. It is on the same level as going to a 5 star spa for humans. Louisa you are an incredible groomer, thank you for all you do for Bertie. We can't wait to see you again soon.

I took my baby cockapoo Ruby for her first haircut with Louisa and Hannah.. I have been using Wagtails of the Wolds for a few years now and I cannot recommend Louisa and Hannah enough! The service that they offer is excellent and second to none. Louisa is very knowledgable around grooming and dog wellbeing and is happy to share this knowledge and offer advice when needed. My dog Indie, who although is a diva, was very nervous when it came to being groomed. I had tried a number of different groomers over the years before meeting Louisa and Hannah at Wagtails of the Wolds. Their friendly and caring nature puts Indie at ease and grooming is no longer the trauma that it used to be .....for either of us! I cannot imagine ever going anywhere else!

This was our first visit to Louisa and a first groom for our new rescue dog Kobi. Louisa has been very approachable and kind from our first telephone conversation through to the completion of Kobi’s groom. The whole process has been handled very professionally with a lovely personal touch.Kobi has only been with us for three weeks so we were a little apprehensive about the experience for him but we need not have worried. He seems a very happy (maybe a little relieved 😂) boy who looks amazingly clean and sparkly!A big thank you to Louisa & Hannah for looking after him so well.Wagtails is over an hours drive away for us but the experience has been worth the time we invested and their 5 star reviews are well earned.

Honestly the best service from start to finish. I have never been and we were both looked after. I was given clear instructions of what will happen, what if I’m not happy, how they will care for our dog. You can tell they just love dogs, it was calm, the dogs look happy. First time using Wagtails and I couldn’t be happier. My little Shih Tzu Maisie is 12 and has fibrotic myopathy, her left leg is completely wasted so she struggles sometimes. She had a mud massage and full groom. The massage really helped her joints and she was so relaxed. Her coat was glossy and she looked lovely. Very pleased with the care and attention both Louisa & Hannah gave her. Highly recommend.

What a brilliant service - found this company a few weeks ago after discovering my rescue dog had neglected teeth her gums looked quite sore and concerning. Louisa called me same day to discuss my dogs dental care - after reviewing sone photographs Louisa was helpful informative and caring - we decided between us the best course of action - been today where she was treated with kindness and care - so happy with the results- hopefully she can now enjoy her food in comfort - after care and maintenance provided - all round first class service - thank you .

Meg my 13 old Springer Spaniel has got her Spring back after having her trim and Mud Massage. Once more she is like a new dog. She had her first mud massage 6 months ago and then after the massage she was acting like a puppy.This new dog lasted for a good six weeks or so. Today she went in her usual old plodding self. When we collected her she was so relaxed she didn’t want to come out of her cage. Walking her yesterday she was plodding along behind me but today she was dragging me along at the full length of her extension lead. Having a 11 month old Sprocker, I was on the hunt for someone to do his first groom, as a little wriggler and super needy I was worried he wouldn’t settle. But from the minute I walked into the groomers my heart was relived. The love these guys show the dogs, the quality of the work they have carried out, it was wonderful. Blu has never looked so good, the cut was perfect & exactly what I asked for. Even blu seems chuffed!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Extremely warm, friendly and professional. I had a nightmare trying to clip my dogs nails, but Louisa and Hannah made her feel so comfortable that she had no issues whatsoever. It was also my puppy’s first time and he had no problems either. These lovely ladies are very thorough and considerate within their approach from the initial consultation to the end when your babies will be looking beautiful!

Lovely friendly and attentive service from start to finish. Louisa asked for lots of info about Percy and his teeth before his treatment and on the day she was professional and reassuring. His teeth looked fabulous after and he will be going for maintenance every couple of months. I’m really pleased I followed my friends recommendation and will be using Wagtails for Percy.

Our dogs Albert and Fred (wirehaired dachshunds) have been groomed by Louisa for a few years now, and we wouldn't go anywhere else. She listens to what we would like done and has given us her advice when needed. Recently, they have had dental treatment, and I am amazed at the results.

Wagtails offer a fantastic puppy package that introduces your puppy to all the different stages of grooming in four separate sessions. My 7 month old bordoodle Morris and I have just come home from his final session where he had his full shave, and he looks incredible! Louisa and her team are lovely and listen to all your dogs needs. This was my spaniels first visit and one of them is usually very anxious when being groomed but we had no problems at all. They looked fabulous after their visit.

Louisa has been clipping Nellies nails for a few months. Nellie has black nails and difficult clip, she also wriggles a lot!Louisa was warm and welcoming, and we were immediately at ease.Nellie loves coming to see Louisa. My sprocker Luke was 1 year at the end if January. He had never been groomed. I did some research and the testimonials for Louisa (and Hannah), of Wagtails of the Wolds appeared to be out standing so I booked.I was not disappointed. Such friendly, kind and caring staff. Luke has had a bad time recently after having a front leg amputated most likely as the vet says, due to an adder bite. I was quite nervous, never mind Luke.Louisa was very professional and understanding of his differing needs, and catered for this with outstanding care. She and Hannah took care of Luke as though he was their ownDefinitely be using again.Go on give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

Could not recommend enough! Took my 10 month old cane corso, Cerberus for his first time proper groom. The staff were absolutely amazing, could not thank them enough, so patient and went by his according, when he was ready as he was very nervous been his first time. His coat has never been so soft and clean, He looks so fresh and smells amazing! I’m very happy with the outcome and will definitely be coming again!

This is by far the best groomer I have ever been to! I have two spaniels and they both came back to me looking the best ever and exactly what I asked for. My eldest is a nervous, reactive boy and in the past I’ve had to use groomers that visit the house or book an appointment when we know the salon will be more or less empty. But at Wagtails, he is so well looked after and loved he happily goes into the salon when it’s busy! Something I’ve never seen him do!I highly recommend Wagtails and I personally won’t be taking my dogs anywhere else again!

Louisa and the girls at Wagtails are amazing. Bella & Maya had been groomed by the same groomer for 8years, moving counties meant a new groomer. Louisa made me feel so comfortable leaving the girls with her.I wouldn't take them anywhere else, I am so lucky to have chosen Wagtails of the Wolds.

My puppies first experience at a groomers and she looking amazing. Louisa was so helpful and friendly. She talked me through what would be taking place with Peggy and asked what i wanted out of it. Peggy looks neat and tidy without looking “too groomed” which is what we wanted. Happy I’ve found Peggy’s perfect groomer!

We would highly recommend Louisa and her lovely team. Rita a three year old cocker Spaniel can be VERY fussy!! The team always offer a warm welcome and are able to put us both at ease! Wags of tails are just brilliant! The patience these girls have, especially for my very difficult pugs for their nails clipping, is just amazing. I travel 20 miles to have a visit with the team for sometimes just a quick 5 minutes, (sometimes a lot longer, depending how mine play up!) as the care these ladies have on my fur babies is just so wonderful. Louisa did a fantastic job with my very anxious Cavapoo Coco, the care and effort that went into that groom and cut is fabulous. If you are looking for an EXCELLENT dog groomer you need look no further. Louisa and her small team are wonderful. The grooming is first class and Louisa is so caring and thoughtful. Our Tibetan terrier always wags his tail when he sees Louisa and never resists going in for his grooming. I have no worries about leaving him for his grooming. I can highly recommend Wagtails of the Wolds with absolutely no hesitation.
