The health and wellbeing of my dogs are of the utmost importance to me.
I have Barney (a Cavapoo) who has allergies that cannot be identified even after many blood tests, causing him to itch his feet, paws, and bottom, and I have Booty (a Yorkshire Terrier) who is super sound sensitive and an extremely fussy eater.
Barney became immune to the Apoquel medication he was given to treat the itchiness; the next step was to put him on strong steroids for the rest of his life, but the side effects were terrifying, so I needed to find a solution without medication. I was aware that food plays a large part when it comes to allergies in dogs – that became my mission, I was on the look out for a dog food that helped my Barney.
I came across Edgard Cooper and fell in love with them, their ethos, ethics, and morals are all in line with my own. Their food is grain free and organic, full of delicious fruits, vegetables and nutrients providing a wide range of benefits health wise and a huge choice of meat, kibble, and tasty treats for dogs. Even their packaging is recycled, and they donate 10% of their profits to the Dog Care Clinic in Sri Lanka.
Due to the natural ingredients in the food, I have found this really helps to keep Barney’s allergies at bay. Even Booty eats her food on a more regular basis due to the tasty range, her favourite is the lamb and beef with apple, carrot, and beetroot.
We see a lot of dogs nowadays who have allergies and who are fussy eaters, so with the success and experience with Booty and Barney Wagtails of The Wolds became suppliers of Edgard Cooper dog food which we stock in our Wagtails shop.
